Metaga It sounds like a lost Forbidden record and if this isn't a reason to buy I don't know what is!

Tyme This release epitomizes the classic thrash of the early 90's without coming across as overly reaching to be retro. Everything's running on all cylinders here and that's a good thing. I got a bit of a Wrathchild America vibe from this, and that is what sealed the deal for me. Definitely worth checking out.

bcb723 Here is a interesting one to check out. Mental Devastation have a sound that could be described as progressive thrash. Like fitting somewhere between classic Testament and early Voivod, "The Delusional Mystery Of The Self. Part 1" leaves you thinking what the hell Part 2 is going to sound like?? Oh and that production is shit-hot. Nicely done. Favorite track: Reflections Over The Veils Of Death.

misanthropic_ix Best thrash album to be released in very long time. Very good production without being over-produced and digital.

An absolute must for fans of Forbidden and Vio-lence and other 80's Bay Area Thrash.

about

CD and Cassette, to be released on December 31st, 2021 via Blood Harvest Records.

Vinyl will follow in 2022. Release date to be announced.

In 2013, Mental Devastation released their amazing album debut, "Red Skies", containing 11 songs heavily influenced by the Bay Area, traditional Thrash Metal.
Now, after 8 years of silent work, Mental Devastation are finally releasing their second full length entitled "The Delusional Mystery of the Self. Part 1". This album is the ideal mix of their various longtime musical influences, merging progressive passages alongside a conceptual idea which at the end developed into a Two part Opus....and this is only the first part!

For fans of Forbidden, Testament, Slayer or even Coroner.
