Weirdo death metal that calls to mind a bit of Demilich and a lot of the sadly-defunct Howls of Ebb, but presented in a more aggressive package, this is an ever-shifting yet tightly-crafted descent into the depths of hell. In the hands of lesser musicians, these wild compositions would have skidded off of the tracks into quite the train wreck, but on Heptaedrone we are treated to seamless transitions of riff after glorious riff, with thunderous percussion and bass to anchor it all. Glorious! Ippocalyptica
