Goniloc Ripal About as filthy and cavernous as you could ever want your death metal. Favorite track: (Regions Of Sorrow) Intro / Demon Ruins.

Earthwvrm You can smell the rot in these tracks. OSDM at its best for sure. Favorite track: Valley Of Defilement.

Vetrarnótt Finally listening to the long awaited tape released by Blood Harvest. It was worth the wait, since this re-release was totally must-have punishing piece of death metal with deep and ominous vocals. Presence of old-school riffing is obvious, but the necro atmosphere puts Bottomless Perdition among the best death metal demos I've heard so far. Short duration is also a must, because while at it, we can reach further into the darkness.

Aristo Prabowo Taking a page from those old cassette tapes your uncle had when he was a metalhead in the early 90s, this demo by Tomb Mold perfectly captures the grimy, unnerving old-school death metal sound a la the classic Swedish scene (think Grave, not In Flames) and the Finnish scene.

Forewarning: after listening you might need a shower Favorite track: The Bottomless Perdition.

about

BLOOD HARVEST RECORDS is proud to present TOMB MOLD's The Bottomless Perdition on cassette tape. TOMB MOLD is an old-school death metal band out of Toronto, Ontario. Derrick Vella and Max Klebanoff have played together in various bands in the past. One of the strongest bonds they shared was an intense love for death metal. While initially being rooted in the Toronto punk scene, TOMB MOLD quickly developed in a two-piece form whilst being deeply embedded within a DIY framework. And while The Bottomless Perdition acts as a sort of love letter to '90s Finnish death metal, it has helped to lay the groundwork for bigger things to come, which will soon include a second demo and, more importantly, a debut full-length for BLOOD HARVEST.

Says the band, "TOMB MOLD is very excited to be working with BLOOD HARVEST with a re-release of the demo as well as a full-length LP in the near future, which will build on the foundations created on The Bottomless Perdition." Indeed bottomless, the TOMB MOLD sound sounds exactly like the band's moniker: malignant, musty, and beyond black, festering in filth and drowning in decay. BLOOD HARVEST RECORDS will be presenting this new edition of The Bottomless Perdition in an edition of 200 copies, each including a download code. - (Nathan T. Birk)
